The oldest living Catholic bishop has died

The Most Reverend Damián Iguacén Borau, Bishop emeritus of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain, died on 24 November 2020 in Huesca, Spain, at the age of 104.

At the time of his death, Bishop Iguacén Borau was the oldest living Catholic bishop in the world. He had held that distinction since 21 June 2020.

The de Bovet line grows smaller

Cardinal Anthony Soter Fernandez, Archbishop emeritus of Kuala Lumpur, died on 28 October 2020 at Cheras Malaysia. May he rest in peace.

 His death reduces the number of living members of the de Bovet line to 8. Here is the updated list.
